(English) È molto tempo che non scrivo articoli relativi al progetto “Apple D-User”. Oggi vi propongo una semplice applicazione, un widget, che ha la funzione di calcolare il ∆% fra due valori: quindi valutare in percentuale l'incremento od il decremento fra due valori.
La formula di ∆% non è presente su tutte la calcolatrici in commercio, la si trova per lo più su quei modelli destinati agli uffici pensando che l'utenza di tale funzione sia solo finanziaria od economista. Quand'anche sulla scrivania del D-User vi fosse una calcolatrice completa di detta formula potrebbe non essere agevole utilizzarla. Ecco quindi che premendo F12 avremo in Dashboard un widget semplicissimo: ∆Calc.



Il software è nato per caso parlando di questa lacuna con l'Amico - Tevacchiano - Paolo Portaluri che ha poi realizzato la programmazione e la grafica di ∆Calc.

L'utilizzo del widget è semplicissimo: inserite nei due campi i due differenti valori e questo vi computerà il risultato che potrà essere positivo o negativo.


Due esempi di calcolo, uno con risultato positivo ed il secondo con risultato negativo.

Ricordate solo che il separatore decimale è il punto e non la virgola.
Sono convinto che ∆Calc si rileverà utile anche per calcoli che non siano l'incremento od il decremento del titolo AAPL, ma che potrà risultare utile anche per tutti quei lavori, ad esempio, di grafica o disegno tecnico.

A widget supporting Mac OS X Calculator

It's a lot of time that I don't write about "Apple D-User" project. Today I present you a simple application, a widget, to calculate the ∆% between two values: that is it values the percent increment o decrement between them.
The ∆% operator is not available on every calculator, you can find it in particular on that models designed for offices considering that the use of the function is almost all financial.
Even if one of this calculators should be available on the desktop of a D-User, it could be uneasy to use. So just clicking on F12 key, you have a very simple widget: ∆Calc.



The software was born by a casual chat about this lack with a friend of mine - Tevac-ian - Paolo Portaluri, who have designed and implemented the graphics and programming of ∆Calc.

The widget usage is very simple: just insert in the two text field the different values and the result (positive or negative) will appear right down.


Two examples of calculation, respectively with positive and negative results.

Note that numbers follow American notation, so the decimal separator is always the dot.

I think ∆Calc will be useful for more than to calculating the increment of AAPL stocks, for example in all that works about graphics and technical design.
